Laura Müller personality type is INFP, which is one of the most misunderstood personality types in the world. After years of writing about personality types, I can see how INFPs are often misunderstood, but after watching my INFP clients deteriorate for years (due to repeated mistreatment by people who didn’t understand them), I decided to at least try to make my personality type better known to the world.
I have a German surname, so I am often asked if I’m a writer. The truth is, I am a psychologist and have been for several years, but I have a very high-level degree in psychology from University of Heidelberg.
I have been living in the UK since 2009, after deciding to move from Germany, where I worked as a doctor at a psychiatric hospital. In the UK, I studied for a doctorate in Psychology, which was followed by a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Nottingham. I currently work at Nottingham Trent University, where I am a professor of psychology and a senior lecturer in psychotherapy, counselling and psychotherapy training. I’m also a UKCP registered practitioner.
