    Arthur Veríssimo Vieira de Mello Pereira (Rio de Janeiro, February 10, 1959) is a Brazilian journalist, television presenter, broadcaster and DJ. He is best known for having worked at Trip magazine and having done several articles for the Ratinho Program in 1998. Veríssimo at 16 started reading the book Tantra: the Art of Total Love, on the last page was the address of Osho Rajneesh in the Brooklin neighborhood in São Paulo, so Veríssimo was looking for the Hinduism and spirituality. At the age of 20 he started as a journalist in the community magazine Transe. After several trips to the United States, France, United Kingdom and India, on his return to Brazil, in the 1980s he met the owner of the multicultural plant Carbono 14, where he served as a DJ until 1983. Three years later, in 1986 he got his first steady job through Trip magazine, which made him one of the first to join the newsroom. After an article about Indian, he was invited by Ratinho.
