Mariusz grew up in a dynamic environment where he was exposed to new projects and ideas, and was able to work on them with his father. Mariusz built his own balloon at the age of 8 with his father's help, and was able to make it work in the air.
Mariusz went to school in Warsaw and got his secondary education with the International Baccalaureate program. He completed it in 3 years and left Poland in 2004 to pursue a career in the U.S. He attended the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, and graduated from there with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2007.
In 2007 Mariusz started working at Boeing in Seattle. In 2012 he moved to Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where he worked on the 787 Dreamliner program. In 2014 Mariusz left Boeing and joined Airbus to work on the A350 program.
In 2015 Mariusz founded Polepeller, a company that develops and manufactures marine propellers for small and medium-sized boats.

From 2001-2005, he was a senior White House correspondent for TVP, the national television in Poland.
