What is the personality type of Ken Ham? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Ken Ham from Classical Reform and what is the personality traits.
Ken Ham personality type is ISTJ, as he is very logical, and tends to be more of a "realist" type.
I'm not really sure why, but I've been thinking about some of the things he said yesterday on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast about creationists. He said some things that really struck me as wrong and wrong-headed and it reminded me of a blog post I read a while back about Dr. Lyle Craker and the "Greater Good" fallacy.
The Greater Good Fallacy
The Greater Good Fallacy is a common logical fallacy that occurs when we try to justify our own beliefs or actions by claiming that they "benefit" society as a whole. It happens most often when we try to justify the harm we do with our beliefs by claiming that it's for the greater good of society as a whole. For example:
"If we don't eliminate the fossil record, then our children's children's children will never know what life is like. They will never understand the wonders of life and how it came to be." (Acceptance speech for his 2017 Nobel Peace Prize)
Kenneth Alfred Ham (born 20 October 1951) is an Australian-born Christian fundamentalist and young Earth creationist living in the United States. He is president of Answers in Genesis (AiG), a Creationist apologetics organization that operates the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Ham advocates biblical literalism, believing that the Book of Genesis is historical fact and the universe is approximately 6,000 years old, contrary to scientific evidence which shows the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old and the Universe is about 13.8 billion years old.
