Ann Walker personality type is INFP, which is the most rare of all the personality types. I worked in a job that held my attention for years because I was INFP. I am very analytical, and my job was to plan the best strategy for something that had never been done before. It was so much fun doing that kind of work that I left my job almost a year ago to go into business for myself. But what I really needed was a place that would give me the chance to finish my Ph.D. in psychology, and a place where I could really use my creativity to do something new and innovative. When a job opened at The College of New Jersey, I knew I had found the place where I could be creative and productive without having to worry about being distracted by the mundane details of how to make my business profitable.
I arrived at The College of New Jersey as an introvert – still am, for that matter – but with an understanding of how much I could accomplish once I stopped thinking about my problems and focus on my work. I was able to work under Dr. Joseph R. Hibler, who taught me everything I know about personality type, and who has become a good friend.
Ann Walker (20 May 1803 – 25 February 1854) was an English landowner from West Riding of Yorkshire. She and her partner Anne Lister were the first known women to have a same-sex wedding ceremony, without legal recognition, at Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate, York in 1834.
