Paul Hellyer personality type is ENTP, which in turn is a combination of both Ni and Se.

They have a natural talent for understanding people and for communication, but they can get frustrated when people don't get them or don't listen to them. They get frustrated when the situation is not what it seems, and when people don't get their jokes or logic, which can make them self-righteous and arrogant.
ENTPs are very good at seeing the big picture, but they can sometimes miss the details or sometimes miss the importance of the details. They often get excited about new ideas, and they enjoy exploring new ideas, but they can get discouraged when no one listens to them. They can be very logical, but they can also be very impractical. ENTPs are often very creative and innovative, but they can be very unorganized because they tend to see the big picture and the potential for things to work out before they've actually put all the pieces together.
