Sukarno personality type is ENFJ, with a little ESFJ here and there. The reason I said “little” is because the type doesn’t tend to be dominant, but it does show in his behavior.
Sukarno was rather well-loved in Indonesia, and he often used the image of the “tiger” to express his sense of pride. It’s a big part of his legacy, but it was to his detriment. He was somewhat confrontational, and that led to his downfall.
He was also quite generous, and he made sure that everyone was paid fairly for their work. However, he became extremely paranoid about communist conspiracies, and he decided to crack down hard on them. That led to a massive purge of communists in Indonesia. He arrested over 400,000 people, and many were killed. He created the Indonesian New Order, or PNI, which was to be a communist-free nation. Many of its members were communists, but Sukarno didn’t care. He had a real dilemma with communist ideas, which is clear from reading his speeches.

Sukarno was the leader of his country's struggle for Independence from the Netherlands. He was a prominent leader of Indonesia's nationalist movement during the Dutch colonial period, and spent over a decade under Dutch detention until released by the invading Japanese forces.
