What is the personality type of James II of England? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for James II of England from Historical Figures 1600s and what is the personality traits.
James II of England personality type is ISFP, as described by Jung. This is one of the most common personality types, and the fact that the king is such a clear example of such a character is fascinating to me (and I plan to write more on this topic as the book progresses).
A King’s Ransom
The second section of this book focuses on Henry II, the first French king of the House of Valois. The Valois kings were not as easily controlled as their predecessors, and Henry (who was called Le Bon) had a great deal of trouble with his son and successor, Phillip II, who was called Le Sauvage, or The Savage. Personally, I think the King would have been well served by having The Savage killed. For example, after being called “The Savage” for his inability to control his son, Philip II was shipped off to Spain for his own good. He was far more intelligent than his father, but he was also very brave. If he had been killed during the course of the Hundred Years War, the French would have lost even more men.
