    ENFP (6w7)

Mary, Queen of Scots personality type is ENFP, a type so rare that most people have never heard of it. It’s a rare, rare type.

So, ENFP is a rare type. Now if you look at the rest of the MBTI results for the rest of the characters, you’ll see that Mary is the only one with an ENFP personality type.

Now, I don’t think I have to go into too much detail here, but it is worth noting that the type of a fictional character does not necessarily reflect their real-life personality.

    ENFP Mary in the Diary

Let’s take a look in a little more detail at Mary’s ENFP personality type from the diary she wrote when she was 12 years old.

In my opinion, this entry from 12 years old is when the character starts to become more real and interesting. In this entry, Mary is 12 years old and she has already been Queen for a number of years.

So we can see that she is already starting to think about her future and the future of Scotland.

Mary, Queen of Scots (8 December 1542 – 8 February 1587), also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland, reigned over Scotland from 14 December 1542 to 24 July 1567.

Mary, the only surviving legitimate child of King James V of Scotland, was six days old when her father died and she acceded to the throne. She spent most of her childhood in France while Scotland was ruled by regents, and in 1558, she married the Dauphin of France, Francis. Mary was queen consort of France from his accession in 1559 until his death in December 1560.

Widowed, Mary returned to Scotland, arriving in Leith on 19 August 1561. Four years later, she married her half-cousin, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, and in June 1566 they had a son, James.
