Matt personality type is ESFP, so I know what you mean. I have another friend who is also the youngest of three siblings. She's also an ESFP, but she's the middle child. She gets a lot of attention too because she's the youngest. I think it's because she acts younger, not because she's younger.
Anyway, if you're still having trouble, you should see a counselor. I know it might be expensive, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. You'll feel better.

Energetically, ESFPs are caretakers. They are always trying to make everyone around them happy and comfortable. ESFPs are the ones that try to make everyone around them feel better. They can be very controlling and overbearing with this, which is why they need to learn to let go more often. They can be very needy and desperate for attention and affection while being very selfless and giving at the same time.
