The Star personality type is ENFP, and I’ll demonstrate how my day-to-day experience as ENFP demonstrates the necessity of the four cognitive functions:

The ENFPs main function is extraverted intuition (Ne). Most ENFPs use the tertiary function, introverted feeling (Fi), as an auxiliary function. I use tertiary extraverted intuition (Ne) as my auxiliary. My Ne is very strong and sometimes quite dominant. Like all ENFPs, I love to use logic to prove my point. Logic allows me to understand how a physical situation can be changed to match a desired outcome. It allows me to make an accurate prediction about what will happen if one action is taken or another is not taken. This is a very useful tool for me, as a developer, as a teacher, and as a writer.
