So I think that there’s a lot of misunderstanding about the differences between the two of them.
I think what Anton talks about is perfectly true. The ISTJ personality type is not the most common personality type in the United States. But it’s still a very common personality type.
I think that I have never known an ISTJ who got into politics that didn’t eventually become a very strong leader.

He previously served as a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (2001–2002), Democratic Staff Director of the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations (2002–2008), and a member of the Obama–Biden presidential transition, active from November 2008 to January 2009, among other positions.
