Ross Perot personality type is ISTJ, the decision maker) like me to be comfortable with the idea of being in the "third place" in my life. I have several friends who are very organized types, and I have learned to trust their judgment in many things.
And I have made some wonderful friends who are very "outgoing" types. They are great people to have around. They are fun, but they are not the kind of people I want to have living with me for any length of time.
I think that everyone should have good friends that are good for them, but I also know that there are some types that just don't mesh well with me. I can't sit still long enough to make a good "partner" in life. I have the emotional maturity of an infant, but I am not afraid to call myself an adult or a woman when it comes to relationships or responsibilities.
Perhaps it is the fact that I have no desire to be in a "dominant" relationship that makes me feel comfortable in the "third place." I thrive on relationships in which I feel needed, but I also know that my needs are not wanted in most relationships.
I struggle with the idea of living alone.
