Digbert "Diggie" Smalls personality type is ESFP, which is one of my favorite types. You can read about my personal experiences with ESFPs here, and about my first-person accounts of Diggie (and other "Diggs") here.
In the 6th and most recent season of Community (which is currently in its sixth and final season), the character Jeff Winger is portrayed as an ENFP. I won't be including any analysis of Jeff here, but I will be using this (inaccurate) character description to illustrate characteristics of ENFPs:
Jeff is a goofy, geeky type, a little bit neurotic, and very spontaneous. He has a sense of humor about himself and his neuroses, but he also doesn't pull any punches when he gets mad. He's a completely open book, but not in a whiny or self-deprecating way, but in a positive way. He's an extremely creative type, he's always thinking of new ideas or ways to get things done. He's very encouraging and supportive of his friends. He's pretty much always thinking about what he can add to the group dynamic, especially with his academic smarts, but he also contributes in other ways.
