I will start this essay by telling you about myself and why I am writing this essay.
INFP – My Story
Although I know that I am an INFP and I do not like to be called an INTJ (which is the other personality type I am trying to identify with), I will call myself an INTJ-ish type because I do enjoy reading books by authors such as Tom Robbins, David Mitchell, and David Foster Wallace, and I love to discuss philosophy. For instance, if you were to ask me if I was empathetic, I would say that I am very empathetic. However, if you were to ask me if I cared about people’s feelings and desires, I would say that I probably don’t.
I am also very observant and I enjoy observing and thinking about people and their interactions with one another. However, I am not good at expressing myself and giving other people feedback about them. For instance, sometimes if people are talking to me about their feelings, I find it difficult to express my emotions towards them.
