I am a self-taught artist, who has been creating art for over 20 years. I began creating my own artwork in the early 90's. At first I drew animals and silly cartoons. Then I started creating abstract paintings of flowers and landscapes.
Then I began to experiment with mixed media. After years of experimenting with different types of media I found a style that worked for me. I took a class at a local art school and was hooked. It was so easy to create art when I had all the tools, techniques and supplies I needed at my fingertips.
But over the years, I have learned so much about myself and so much about how to create art. To name just one thing, I learned that making art enhances my mental outlook. There is something about creating art that feels so good because it is so therapeutic.
