Mikannn personality type is INFP, which is one of the most common types in the world. Where I’m from, INFPs are very rare. It’s not unusual for people to be surprised when they meet one. It’s rare to find someone who fits in with the stereotype of the typical ISTJ.
That’s probably why it took me so long to feel comfortable talking to my friends about my thoughts. I always thought that if I told them about my thoughts, they wouldn’t think I was serious or I’d be called crazy.
I was really shocked when one of my close friends responded to me with an ‘I thought you were joking at first’ comment. He didn’t think that I was crazy. Even though that was hard for me to hear, it made me realize that I’m not alone in this.
After that, I started opening up to my friends and telling them about my thoughts and feelings. They were all very understanding and supportive, and they would tell me that they understand what I’m going through.
Now, I can talk about everything with them.
