I’ve been into comics and movies since I was really young, three or four. I didn’t grow up with a TV, and we didn’t have cable TV as kids. We were a middle class family, so we didn’t have access to cable TV, but we had access to the public library system. The public library system was awesome. They had a comic section, so I’d go in there, and I’d read a lot of comics there. I was a big fan of the X-Men, and Spider-Man, and Iron Man, and all that stuff. Movies just kind of got me into the whole thing. I got into the whole comics thing through my mom. My mom was a big comics fan.
I started out as a professional writer for a martial arts website. I was writing a lot of stuff about martial arts and mixed martial arts, which is actually how I got involved with many of the hosts on this show.
