Nerdwriter1 personality type is INFJ, and they are not a good match for the ENFP.
I see two main ways to explain this. ENFPs are not the INFJs’ “type.” They are not the INFJs’ “type.”
Personality types are often not fixed, but fluid. There is a lot of overlap in the types. I have found that INFJs and ENFPs can be very compatible because they are both introverted perceivers, which means they both need quiet times to process their feelings and come up with creative ideas. These INTJ and INTP people are, however, more likely to be more in tune with their feelings and have more introspection about their inner world.
ENFPs have a natural attraction to people who are naturally interested in social interaction, but it may not be reciprocated, especially from INFJs. For example, a mentor of mine was an INFJ and she was always very interested in social interaction. She was always fascinated by the novelty of different people and what made them tick. However, she did not find ENFPs interesting because they seemed to lack such curiosity about others.
