Mr. Wright personality type is ENFJ, as well as being a pretty good example of the Idealist personality type.
The ENFJ is described by Wikipedia as being:
“usually warm, outgoing, generous and sensitive, with a strong sense of ethics and integrity; interested in people and their needs and a natural leader.”
Note that “outgoing, generous” does not mean “a pushover”. ENFJs tend to be very independent, and are not naturally “followers”.
This is caused by the Fi side of their personality. Yes, they are very social, but they are also highly independent. As a result, they often have to work hard to achieve a balance between their social and independent sides.
ENFJs are very concerned with “making the world a better place” and “improving people’s lives”, and they usually try to put this into words. They are very good at expressing themselves verbally, and are often described as “people pleasers” by those who know them well.
ENFJs also have an extremely high tolerance for ambiguity, which can make them seem indecisive at times.
