Char personality type is ENTP, or “The Thinker” (see my Personality Type Theory course here). They are often described as “the most inventive and original of all the types.” This is because their dominant function is intuition, and they tend to use the functions of thinking, feeling, and perceiving to create new ideas and innovations.
These are the people who come up with marketing ideas that change the world, who revolutionize the way we think about how we interact with technology, and who help shape our world views. These are also the people who can easily distract themselves from the mundane world to spend hours deep in thought, exploring new ideas and possibilities.
The ENTP’s natural inclination is to be independent and self-sufficient. They are the people who don’t need to be told what to do, and whose personal drive and motivation far exceeds that of other types. They will go out on their own for a project, and may even be too difficult for others to work with.
