Ibn Aqil (ra) describes the Prophet (pbuh) as:
“The most perfect example of man in perfect manners, in virtuous deeds, in knowledge, in eloquence, in persuasive speech, in good works, in truthfulness, in confidence, in self-control, in hopefulness, in justice, in generosity, in endurance, in bravery, in piety, in prayer, in patience, in sincerity, in generosity, in forgiveness, in unity of Allah’s religion, in trustworthiness, in hope, in fear of Allah, in repose of heart when Allah’s enemy is aggrieved.”

Muslim ibn Aaqil al-Hashimi (Arabic: مُسْلِم ٱبْن عَقِيل ٱلْهَاشِمِيّ Muslim ibn ʿAqīl al-Hāshimīy) was the son of Aqeel ibn Abi Talib and a member of the clan of Bani Hashim, thus, he is a cousin of Hussain ibn Ali. The people of Kufa called upon Husayn to overthrow the Umayyad dynasty who was on his way to Mecca for the Hajj pilgrimage. He wanted to confirm the loyalty of the people of Kufa, so he sent his cousin and his ambassador, Muslim ibn Aqeel, a famous warrior, to Kufa to observe the situation. He sent a letter to Hussain confirming their loyalty, before knowing that the 30,000 followers that he gained would all betray him for their lives. He was executed by the newly installed governor, Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, on the 9th of Zilhaj, 60 AH, and is buried at the back of Great Mosque of Kufa.
