What is the personality type of St Patrick? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for St Patrick from Christianity and what is the personality traits.
St Patrick personality type is ENFJ, and through this we often see the self-sacrificial nature of the ENFJ. So what do they do with all that energy? They give it away.
I’ve spent some time thinking about this “giving” nature, and how it relates to the ENFJ’s life purpose. I’ve written about this before, but I feel that it is worth sharing, as it encapsulates what is so special about ENFJs, and what makes them so attractive to others.
Why ENFJs Give
According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the first step to understanding ENFJs is to understand their primary function. The primary function is not just a label for their personality type, but rather describes their primary cluster of cognitive functions. This is what helps ENFJs understand people and predict behavior.
The primary function is Extroverted Intuition (Ne) – Introverted Intuition (Ni). When the ENTJ is the primary function, they are more concrete in their thinking, and are more interested in facts, data, and facts about facts.
Saint Patrick was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary patron saint of Ireland, the other patron saints being Brigit of Kildare and Columba. He is venerated in the Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion, the Lutheran Churches, and the Old Catholic Church, and in the Eastern Orthodox Church as equal-to-the-apostles and Enlightener of Ireland.
