Francis Troy, born on September 23rd, 1982, is an American actor and model. He is best known for his role in the movie “The Pursuit of Happyness”, in which he portrayed a fictional character named Chris Gardner. It was a hit movie in 2006 and it won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture.
He also appeared in other movies such as “Takers”, “X-Men: The Last Stand”, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, “The Fighter”, “Hancock”, etc. Troy is also the author of the book entitled “Angels Among Us”.
Troy is also a businessman, and in 2007 he founded a company called “Troy Trojans Football Club” in San Diego. He was a player in football in his younger days.
