General Grievous personality type is ISTJ, and like most of the other tersions, he's a bit more childish and lacks in the more "intelligent" aspects of a stereotypical ISTJ personality, but still has his moments.
The most notable is his inflated ego as he always refers to himself as "The Supreme Leader of the Separatist Movement" (note that even the Supreme Chancellor was only referred to as "Leader of the Republic" in the original Clone Wars series), often proclaiming his orders to be the greatest ever, which he even makes a habit of doing even though he's heard at least a dozen times.
He also has a tendency to be extremely over-confident in his abilities. He believes that he is invincible, and is always nervous when he's in a difficult situation with someone who can beat him. He also doesn't like making mistakes, especially since he's a perfectionist.
Despite his arrogance and anger issues, he's actually quite well-meaning. He genuinely wants peace, and will do anything to make sure that happens. He even goes as far as to kill those who he believes threaten that peace, even if they didn't actually harm him.
Above all else, Grievous is not very smart.
