They are "dual-processors" meaning they have a more subjective and intuitive approach to their surroundings. ISTPs are good at seeing patterns and they often make good mediators, because they are able to take the information they are given, process it, and then come up with a solution that everyone can agree upon. They are not very good at being the center of attention, because they are more interested in the details of their surroundings. ISTPs are normally quite focused, and they have "dual-attention" meaning they can focus intensely on one task at a time while also being able to attend to other things if need be. They are very good at picking up on other people's feelings and moods and using this information to decide how to handle the situation. While ISTPs are capable of making decisions quickly, they prefer to use their intuitions to decide which path would be best.
