She was given her name because it means "pure" in Japanese. She thought Sasori-san (Sasaki for short) sounded cool, so she decided to use it instead of her real name.
Reika was very close to her older sister Miku. They were quite similar in personality, though Miku was the type that did things because she "hated being bored." Reika would often try to talk to Miku about important things. When Miku was in middle school, Reika got into many fights with other people because she would get so angry when people were rude to Miku.
