Steve Calsberg personality type is INFP, and the one I share the best relationship with is the ENTP. A significant aspect of my INFP nature is keeping me from ever really getting to know the ENTP well.
This is because I am so stubbornly focused on my own point of view.
I think this is a typical INFP problem, and it is very frustrating to be around. I treat the ENTPs I meet as if they are temporarily filling some role I need to fill. They never seem to be able to step out of their roles and become more than what they are.
The ENTPs I have met who fit this description are people like Robert Anton Wilson (he’s a typical ENTP). Robert Anton Wilson is a writer and philosopher who I greatly admire.
His books and writings, however, are filled with metaphors and analogies that make little sense to me. What I do appreciate about him is his willingness to show his own human weaknesses and human failings. He’s not perfect, and that’s what makes him interesting and worth knowing.
The ENTP I am closest to is my cousin Susan.
