Yukina Shirahane personality type is INFP, and she is often referred to as "the owl" by her friends and other characters. Yukina first meets Naruto during his battle with Neji Hyuuga. She offers to help Naruto fight the Hyuuga, thinking he is weak because he is an Uzumaki. She also offers to help him get to the Forest of Death, as the only way to reach the Forest is by passing through the Hyuuga compound. She eventually meets Naruto as he fights Lee, and she offers to help him defeat Lee, but declines. She then helps Naruto defeat Neji and Lee, and, after she and Naruto defeat Gaara and finish their battle, she leaves.
Yukina returns to help Naruto and Sakura defeat the RedNJOY and Kakuzu (although she is not seen fighting herself), and later assists them against Sasori at the Chūnin Exams. She also helps Naruto defeat Pain.
In Part II, Yukina is sent out on a mission to capture a spy at the time of the Fourth Shinobi World War. She later meets Naruto again and defeats Sai to prevent him from defecting from the forces of peace.
