STU personality type is ESFP, which is the type that is most likely to be therapy junkie.
In his book "Type Talk," David Keirsey describes ESFPs as "Those who enjoy therapy for therapy's sake, who enjoy the attention and rightness of being in therapy, but who actually don't need therapy."
But while ESFPs are good at therapy, they're not always good therapists.
They're often "too busy" to do their own therapy, Keirsey said.
"If your ESFP friend really wants to be a therapist, they can be," Keirsey said. "But if they don't want to be a therapist, they'll just do it for the money."
Keirsey said there are three types of ESFPs: the "therapist junkie," the "therapid" and the "therapist who cares."
The therapist junkie is someone who expresses an interest in therapy, but never practices it. And they're not necessarily good at it, Keirsey said.
"They're the person who says 'I want to be a therapist' and then they never practice or learn how to do it," Keirsey said.
