How did you find out you were coming to work for WGN?
I got the audition via the web, and I was so nervous at first. I had no idea what I was coming to. I thought, “Oh my gosh, I don’t know if I’m going to get this job.”
I was watching WGN growing up since I was a kid, and I used to watch the news, but I never knew that they had a cable channel. Then when I found out that they had a cable channel, that was it for me. It’s just something that I wanted to do.
It’s the only job that I have ever gotten in my life, so I’m not going to give up on it for anything.
What were your thoughts when you first saw the intro video?
I was really geeky about it, because it was kind of cartoony, but it fit with the characters that Eddie is.
