The Dandy Crow's personality was inspired by a few different things. One is that I like Dandy Crow's back story, which is probably the best out there. I want to write about him again in the future. The second thing is that I've always been fascinated by the idea of an evil version of Superman with a yellow and orange costume who flies around and kills everyone, and also who would be a big gambling addict.
I was reading some comic books when I made the original concept, and I think I drew on some of the comics I was reading at the time, like "The Man of Steel" and "The Dark Knight Returns" and "Watchmen."
I'm also inspired by all the other Dandy Crows I've seen in other cartoons and movies. Like Bart Simpson has a Dandy Crow, as does Popeye, and many others.
