David García Martínez personality type is INFP, and the only other time I‘ve written about him I described him as an INFJ. However, I may be wrong and he could be an INTP. If so, it would be one of the rare cases in which a character is described as an Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving type, and the only time I‘ve seen this in literature.
For those of you who don’t know, INFPs, like INTPs, are highly creative and imaginative people. Unlike INFJs, they are often described as “passionate” to the point of being “fanatical” about their ideas.
However, I think García Martínez is also an Intuitive type, which is a rare combination. Since INFJs and INTPs make up only about 4% of the population (depending on whether INFJs and INTJs are considered separate types), we can deduce that this combination is extremely rare. I’ve never seen it before in literature.
