Navarro Becerra was born in Seville, Andalusia, Spain on 4 January 1972. She is the daughter of Miguel Ramón Ramírez, an architect, and María Dolores Ortega Navarro. Her father was also a journalist and radio personality.
Navarro Becerra began her career in journalism at the age of 17, working in radio stations. She later studied Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She then worked at the Spanish press agency EFE, where she became known for her interviews with international personalities. She also worked at the company PRISA. She then worked on the news programme "Doble Equipo", before joining the daily newspaper "El Mundo".
