I'm not surprised. I used to be an INFP also, and I can relate to her a lot. It's hard to deal with being an INFP because you have all this in your head and you can't express it. Your insecurities about being a perfectionist with a high emotional quotient, being too sensitive and shy, and being extremely sensitive can be hard to deal with. You will always find yourself wondering if you're "good enough," especially if you're comparing yourself to your friends and seeing that you're the only one who's not as cool and successful as them. But the thing is, it doesn't really matter what others think of you because they're not going to be there for you forever.
I'm a bit older than you, but I can tell you what influenced my decision to become an artist. I was always artistic and creative growing up, but I rarely showed it because I thought that it wasn't "cool" to do so. I didn't want to be seen as a nerd or weirdo.
