The “Eigenvalue” type is one of the more interesting types to me. It’s one of the few types that has a dominant function (Ti), but it’s also the only type that has a non-dominant function (Ne).
Unlike the other five types, where the dominant function is the same for all four letters, the Eigenvalue type has two dominant functions for both letters.
For Ti, it is Introverted Thinking (Ti or Ti-Te) which is actually still not quite as dominant with the Eigenvalue type.
For Ne, it is Extroverted Intuition (Ne or Ni) which is actually still not quite as dominant with the Eigenvalue type.
Why is this important? Because with these two dominant functions, an Eigenvalue can be either an introvert with an extraverted auxiliary (Ti-Ne), or an extrovert with an introverted auxiliary (Ni-Ti).
