Gloria personality type is ESFJ, and I’ve always thought that I was supposed to be an ESFJ – I’m a very people-oriented person – but it wasn’t until I read the book that I was like, “Oh, this is what I am.” And I really like it. I want to be able to help other people and take care of people and make them feel good.
I read the book because I wanted to understand how to be a better parent and what makes a good parent, and I think the answer is the same as what makes a good employee: How do you make other people feel, and how do you make yourself feel?
I also wanted to know how other people see me and how I could bring out the best in myself.
I saw that there are eight functions, four dimensions of people that are essential, and the book helped me understand how my functions are working together. It was very helpful in terms of self-awareness.
If you’re an ESFJ, you have this wonderful ability to make other people feel good.
