Ichi (イチ) (which means "one" in Japanese) also known as Hachi (ハチ, eight) is a dog that was once owned by Nobita. He first appeared in a Doraemon manga chapter Stray Dog Ichi's Country and the 1979 series two-parter episode Help the Stray Dogs!! (aired in 1981) and special episode Stray Dog Ichi's Country (aired in 1987). He also appeared in Doraemon: Nobita in the Wan-Nyan Spacetime Odyssey, which is based on the aforementioned manga chapter.
