Toguro, of course, has some ulterior motives of his own. For one thing, he's tired of being alone, tired of being misunderstood. He also wants to be appreciated for being himself rather than being an enigma.
And then there is Yuuei itself, with it's strict rules, the rules of which Shishiwakamaru has already broken. The more Toguro gets involved with Shishiwakamaru, the more he pushes the limits of Yuuei's rules. And despite his best intentions to keep Shishiwakamaru at a distance, Toguro finds himself drawn to the boy in quite a different way than he'd expected.
