Sensui Shinobu personality type is INFJ, which is the second most common MBTI type. I can't say that I know what it's like to have a split personality, but I have definitely felt the tension between my more 'quiet' side and my more talkative side. I have a few friends who think of themselves as moody, but these are people who are very passionate about life. I have never had a split personality of any kind, so I have no idea what it is like.
Sensui Shinobu is a character who is slowly changing, so I'd say he is still evolving. As Sensui Shinobu changes, his personality will remain on some level the same, but the character will also look different.
You mentioned that you've never had a split personality of any kind. What about on a more general level, do you think that people who are born with differences on the surface are likely to have a split personality?
I don't think it's necessarily true that someone who is born with differences on the surface will have a split personality. However, if you were to look at some of the most popular fictional characters, there are plenty of examples of people whose personalities are split on the surface.
