Kanbei personality type is ISFP, not ISTP. He is a more straightforward and direct person than most ISFP's, and thus less prone to the offhand, subdued and whimsical side of his personality. Kanbei is also not as willing to drop his more "serious" demeanor on anyone else. This, combined with his more straightforward and direct nature, occasionally makes him seem more like an ISTP than ISFP. However, the ISTP part of him is still very much present; he is definitely not as calm and controlled as some ISFP's at first glance, and his perception and observation skills are very strong.
