Gordon Allport was an American psychologist who made major contributions to the study of personality and to the understanding of prejudice.
Gordon Allport was born in 1887 in New York City. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1912 from Yale University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He received his Ph.D.
