Doug personality type is ENFJ, and I certainly see a lot of those traits in him, but his sense of humor is indisputable. His social and professional skills and common sense and vision and desire and ability and drive and stubbornness and work ethic and extraordinary intelligence and strength and will and determination and generosity and charisma and charm and love and empathy and compassion for others and integrity and pride and humility… the list goes on. The ability to be a good father is definitely one of his best traits. I definitely think he is a superdad. In the same way that the ENTP is a superpersonality, the ENFJ is a superdad – a pretty big one!
ENFJ – Just a good guy
Unfortunately, the ENFJ inferior function is not a good guy for a lot of people – it’s a bad guy. The ENFJ issues of guilt, obligation, etc. are very real. I think that people often treat the ENFJ as though they are somehow responsible for those issues, as though it’s an ENFJ defect that makes them feel the need to be responsible for others. In fact, that’s not true at all.
