Herbert pocket personality type is ENTP, and he is pretty much like the ENTP type on paper (esp.) and in practice (esp.), and I'm sure many people would agree with that.
I've been thinking about this a bit more, and I think the real problem is that there is no such thing as "Herbert's type" as it is not a type, and as such one cannot be said to "have" it as such - as such there is no such thing as "Herbert's type, and we can't really talk about it". What we can say is that Herbert has one of the kinds of personality, and we can also say that his type, as a whole, is one of the kinds of personality. We can also say that the kinds of personality and types are not independent of each other.
To illustrate this point, consider the following:
Personality type <---> Kind {Personality type} --- > Kind {Personality type}
We can see that if we have two personality types, say "Empiricist" and "Herbert", then we can have two Kinds, say "Empiricist" and "Herbert", which are both Empiricist.
