Aidan Peters personality type is ENTP, and he’s also a musician. If you’ve ever seen his Facebook feed, you know he’s a funny guy. He’s kind of goofy, but he’s also very intelligent, so I was able to have some good conversations with him.
I had worked with him before on another project, so I knew he was good to work with.
How did you arrive at the concept of “The Lost City of Z?” Did you have an original idea, or did you just want to see if James Franco could handle the pressure of being a director?
It’s interesting that you say that. I had seen the clip on his “Citizenfour” website, and I thought it was pretty awesome. So I thought it would be fun to see what he could do with it.
I had originally written it as a book, but I decided to make it into a film because I thought it would be more efficient. I felt like I could get more done in less time if I didn’t have to write the whole thing first, and then have to rewrite it into a screenplay.
