Inspector Gadget personality type is ENTP, and on the Myers-Briggs test, I am ISTP. (I’m not sure which is more accurate). Like everyone on the MBTI test, I am not a perfect representation of my type, but at least it is an indication of what I am like. Being an ENTP means that I am unusually analytical and that I am good at seeing the big picture. (My friend and fellow ENTP Amy Poehler has a great blog on this subject.) This may sound like a negative quality, but I feel that caring too much about the details of a situation can be problematic. I am able to see all of the facts and work out what is going on, and can make reasonable decisions based on what I know. However, I also tend to get caught up in the details and am likely to miss the bigger picture.
I tend to be independent and am very good at figuring things out for myself. I tend to be full of surprises and keep people guessing, both positive and negative. I am very good at getting information and seeing patterns, but not always good at sharing it.
