Shiguma Rika has a major role in The Legend of Thunder!. She hands out a test to the class and asks them to find a specific part of the test questions and write anything they think about it. However, she does not tell them that the test was rigged, and that she herself is the one that set the test up. After the class has left the room, she asks herself if she really should have done such a thing. She is later seen in the classroom as the rest of the class does their test.
Shiguma Rika reappeared in The Legend of Thunder! Part 2 where she gives out another test. However, this time, instead of the test being rigged, it was actually fair and could be passed if students believed in themselves. After the class has left the classroom, she asks herself if she really should have done such a thing. She is seen again in the classroom as the rest of the class does their test.
In Love and Pop, Shiguma Rika appears as a character's aide at school.
