Which is why the news that the Pokemon Go “Gen 3” update for Gen 2 Pokemon is now rolling out is incredibly exciting to those of us with this personality type.
As you know, Gen 3 will be coming to Pokemon Go and we’ll see a lot of new features and improvements.
According to the Pokemon Go blog by Niantic, Gen 3 will bring us:
“New types for each of the standard Pokemon — the first time we’ve seen this in Generation 3.
New moves for each of the new type Pokemon.”
The Gen 2 Pokemon list was originally released in Gen 1, so it’s an interesting move to see Niantic changing course on this.
As you can see via the image above, the Pokemon Gen 3 update is rolling out across North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and New Zealand, but it’s only expected to roll out within the next few days in these areas.
