Torterra is a carefree, kindhearted, and energetic gal who's always upbeat and ready for fun. Unlike most Pokémon who are rather serious, Torterra is generally shown to have a goofy, childlike attitude. Torterra certainly has her eccentricities. For example, she prefers to play in the rain, even when it is raining. This is partially because she is so used to playing outside when she was younger. She also loves to eat anything in sight, but in reality, she is rather selective when it comes to what she eats. She seems to have a very strong affinity for apples, as she is always seen eating apples or wearing something apples related. She likes to keep her body in good shape by eating berries and apples.
She is very fond of watermelons, which are often lit on fire when it is raining.
Torterra's large and clean shell supports the lives of many small Pokémon, which occasionally gather and build their nests upon the shell. Some are born and spend their entire life there. Torterra migrates in search of water, creating the illusion of "moving forests". However, it is typically immobile.
