Zekrom is the only known Legendary Pokémon that possesses two distinct personalities. This is because its two forms are not exactly the same; rather, the two personalities differ only in the way they act, respond to others, and share their thoughts. For instance, in the games, Zekrom acts in a more aggressive manner when in its Black Form, but it acts in a more gentle manner when in its White Form. Each form is also referred to by a different name: Zekrom's Black Form is called "Zekrom" and its White Form is called "Reshiram"; the Japanese names are ゼクロム Reshiramu (Japanese: リシュラム Rishiramu) and レシラム Reshiramu (Japanese: リシュラム Rishiramu). The English names are Zekrom and Reshiram.
Zekrom's most notable characteristic is its ability to change forms. When in White Form, Zekrom is very gentle, kind, and peaceful.
Concealing itself in lightning clouds, it flies throughout the Unova region. When the interior part of its tail spins like a motor, Zekrom can generate many bolts of lightning to blast its surroundings. Mythology tells us that if people lose the righteousness in their hearts, their kingdoms will be razed by Zekrom's lightning. It assists those who want to build an ideal world.
